Dr. A.J. Bentley was born and grew up in Middletown, OH. His dream was to work in the health care field, so after graduating from Madison High School, he majored in radiological technology at Sinclair Community College. After graduation in 1992, he worked in radiology for a short time and then enrolled at Life University in Atlanta, GA graduating from The School of Chiropractic in 1998.

He received a certificate in Botanical (herbal) Medicine from Western States Chiropractic College and the University of Colorado, School of Pharmacy in 1999.

Dr. A.J. Bentley fulfilled another dream when, in 1998, he married Teri Charles.  They now reside in Springboro, OH.

Dr. Bentley’s interest in chiropractic and natural health started when he was a senior at Madison High School. He had a bicycle accident at the age of 12 and injured his right shoulder. After the injury, his shoulder was never quite the same. It popped and cracked when he moved it up and down. Pediatricians told his family that he would outgrow it. That never happened! When he was a senior, he was with a friend and told the friend’s mother how his shoulder popped, cracked and hurt. She told him he should see this doctor she worked for. That doctor was a chiropractor. He went to the friend’s doctor and, after treatment, his right shoulder quit popping, cracking and hurting!

While weight lifting in college, he injured his left shoulder for a second time. He went to the chiropractor for his shoulder and again, GREAT RESULTS! He re-injured his right shoulder and suffered a low back injury while working in radiology. Once more he received chiropractic care. After the last injury, he realized that he had an interest in the chiropractic field. At that point, he decided that becoming a chiropractic doctor was a worthwhile profession. He could help fulfill the need to help people, the same way he had been helped, without drugs or surgery.

MEET THE STAFF

 Shari is the Office Manager and Insurance Coordinator at Bentley Chiropractic Center. She has been in the insurance field for over 21 years. She has worked in this practice since 1998. Shari and her family are avid chiropractic patients and believers.

 Shari’s husband of over 20 years introduced her family to chiropractic care in 1998. She has Three Daughters, and a one Year old Grandson! Shari’s family are members of the Heavenly Highway Tabernacle, in Middletown Ohio and have been involved in many activities there. Shari also enjoys crafts, reading, sewing, and camping.

 Tammy is the Front Desk Coordinator and has been at Bentley Chiropractic since March of 2009. She graduated from the Medical Assisting Program in January of 2009, from SouthWestern College completing her internship here at Bentley Chiropractic.

 Tammy and her husband have been together over 19 years, and they have a 9 year old son, the whole family benefits from chiropractic care. She enjoys watching her son play football for the Middletown Middies, and Tammy is also an avid Cincinati Bengals fan.

 Sherri is our Therapy and Rehab Coordinator.  She has been with Bentley Chiropractic since May of 2006, prior she worked in Home Health Care since 1989. 

 Sherri has recentley married in July of 2009 and has three children, a step daugther, and a 2 year old Grandson. Her entire family benefits from Chiropractic Care. Sherri says that chiropractic has been a wonderful experience for her and she would recommend chiropractic care to everyone whether it be strains or just stress in their everyday life. Sherri helps out at the family owned Hunter Pizzaria, She attends her stepdaughters Cheerleading Compititions, she also enjoys gardening and is currently remodeling her home.

 Chelsea WIllis is the Therapy Specialist and has been here since April of 2009. She had epileptic seizures since she was 21 days old, she started chiropractic care in 1998 and has been siezure free ever since!

 She has been married to her husband almost a year and has a year old son who has been adjusted ever since he was two days old. She enjoys four wheeling, and spending time with her family and friends.

 Chena is the Billing and Insurance assistant and has been with Bentley Chiropractic since April of 2009. She graduated from the medical assisting program at SouthWestern College in December of 2008, after completing her internship here at Bentley Chiropractic, she is currently enrolled at Brown Mackie College for Practical Nursing and is expected to graduate in September of 2010

 Chena has a 3 year old son, who also recieves chiropractic care. In her free time, she enjoys reading, camping, watching television and movies, and spending time with her family.

 Eric Hayes, the newest member of our team here at Bentley Chiropractic, worked prior as Lietenant Security Manager for the DHL Airport in Wilmington Ohio, after suffering from the devistating company close he came to Bentley Chiropractic in September of 2009.

 Eric is a member of the Pentecostal Heavenly Highway Tabernacle, in West Middletown Ohio where he is the Choir Director, Piano Player, and valued song leader. He is also a member of the Kiwanis Group in Middletown Ohio, where he helps the community through many ways. Eric has been a long time chiropractic patient, he also enjoys traveling, gardening, and cooking.
